Eggless dates and nuts cake

Eggless dates and nuts cake is a very easy cake.  I searched the net and bookmarked many cake recipes. I want  to bake an easy recipe and for a long time dates is sitting in my pantry.By Keeping everything in my mind I decided to make this cake. Totally satisfied with the result. For the first time I am shooting with properties.  In Germany i didn 't get any difficulty to shop the xmas properties. I enjoyed  hunting for the properties though the weather is worse (5 degree celcius). I enjoyed the aroma of the cake towards ending. It is super soft  slight moist cake.


 Here is the recipe...



Ingredients:


Dates - 20 nos.

Maida/ All purpose flour - 1 cup

Baking soda - 1 tsp

Granulated Sugar - 3/4 cup

Milk - 3/4 cup

oil - 1/2 cup

Almonds and cashews - 1/2 cup(chopped)


 Method:

1. Chop the nuts . Soak  dates in a warm milk.



2. Sieve baking soda and maida twice.















3. In a bowl, add sugar and milk . Mix well till sugar dissolves. Now add oil and mix well.
















4. Grind the soaked dates as a paste.
















5. Now mix the dates paste to the sugar- milk mixture. Stir well.
















6.Add maida to the above mixture. Mix until everything blends together.

















7. Now add chopped nuts and give a stir.
















8. Preheat the oven @ 175 degree for 10 mins. Meanwhile grease the baking tray and pour the above mixture.




























9. Bake it for 30 -35 mins.















10.  After 30 mins , insert knife or tooth pick in the cake, if it comes out clean then it is don. otherwise bake it for  another 5 - 10 mins. 
















11. Take it out after done.





12. Cool it in a wire rack.
















13. After cooling it completely, slice the cake and enjoy.
