Aloo Gobi Mutter

Aloo Gobi mutter is an awesome sidedish for rice and chapathi. I surfed the net and  I learnt the recipe.














Here is the recipe...



Ingredients:

Potato  -  2(small)

Cauliflower  - 1 cup(florets)

Green Peas  -  1/2 cup

Onion  -  2

Red chilli powder - 1 tsp

Oil  -   1 tblsp

Cinnamon  -  1 small piece

Turmeric powder  -  1/4 tsp

Coriander leaves  -  2 tblsp

Salt  - As needed

Garlic  -  4 flakes

Ginger  -  2 pieces (1 inch size each)

Coriander seeds  -  2 tsp

Fennel / soambu  -  1 tsp

Method:

1. Slice onion lengthwise , peel potatoes and cut in to cubes, cut the cauliflower in to florets.

2. Grind Garlic , Ginger, Coriander seeds and Soambu by adding little water.

3. In a kadai heat oil, add cinnamon, then add onion fry till transparent and add grounded mixture. Fry till raw smell goes.

4. Now add the vegetables and give a stir. Add chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt. sprinkle 2 tbsp of water.

5. cook covered in the medium flame for 5 - 10 mins.



6. Add oil 1-2 tsp of oil towards end and give a stir for 2 minutes. Garnish with coriander leaves.

Have with roti or rice...
