Wheat rava upma is a simple breakfast recipe. I like white rava upma much than this one. But nowadays Iam making this upma frequently(diet conscious... he ... he..) My dad always tells that he is best in making this wheat rava upma than mom(he tells like that , but only one time he had made this. Vagely i remember that accident sorry sorry incident. He made upma with little bit excess salt. But still that is special to my heart.
In our family, we like to have manga thokku as a sidedish for upma. Combination of upma, curd and manga thokku is awesome. In the month of may my mom prepares manga thokku (since mango is the seasonal fruit) also this upma frequently. But my hubby is completely different. He wants only sugar for upma.(my work is easy..) Even he don't want to taste (not take) pickle with upma.
