Introduction
Hello all,Introduction
I'm Aishwarya, the author and the photographer of this blog. I'm from the Cotton City of Tamilnadu . But my native place is
Mayiladuthurai near Thanjavur. I got married to Pradeep, an Engineer who loves me and my food equally. After our marriage we stayed in Pune for 8 months
and we moved to Germany. Also visited many european countries .So i have come across many cultures in very less span
of time.
Apart from cooking i love to listen music, watch hollywood and kollywood movies with my husband and i like to spend time with nature.

Creating the food blog is my dream. I wanted to record my recipes electronically and pass it to the next generations. Now I'm very happy that my dream turns in
to reality with my husband's support.
My jounery towards cooking
I'm very much interested in cooking. During School days i tried the
dishes (sometimes it was great, sometimes it was a flop) when my mom was
out (if my mom is there, she will not give ingredients to me thinking that i
will waste it ) . So my interest towards cooking started from my school
days itself.
I
learnt cooking from my Mother. My Mom is a great cook. I love her dishes. But in
school days i got scolding from her for not emptying the lunch box(i hate the
foods without warm and heat). When i was twenty, she taught me some main
south Indian dishes. Initially i felt that is very complex, now that dishes
are at my fingertips. Even after marriage I ask my mom for any doubts. My Dad
always tell that my food is better than her's.
I adapted my mom’s cooking with my style. Whenever i see recipes
in cook book or TV shows i give a try and succeed. This gives me confidence
in cooking.
My husband always admire my Cooking. (Even my Mother In Law -MIL too). I have some signature dishes. In our houses that dishes will be prepared only by me. And everyone doesn't fail to applause me. After marriage , we frequently plan dinner for my husband's friends. And I usally cook North indian foods as they are north indians. Their positive feedback with smile made me to jump in a joy.

About my blog and recipes
I just started the blog. But with my husband's continuous support, i got my own domain, regular in posts and exploring new things in photography. Since I am Vegetarian , All the recipes in this blog are vegetarian. (sorry for non vegetarians)Although I am south indian. I love to cook and eat North indian foods. So in my blog you can find South Indian and North Indian recipes. Now I am experimenting with international cuisine too. So in future i will update my blog with international cuisines. I have started baking after marriage and experimenting with eggless bakes. I should say i have suceeded in that also. So in my blog all the bakes and cakes will be eggless. Initially i used sony camera to click the pictures and didn't used any editing tools. Now I am using Canon Powershot sx 500 for clicking my recipes and using picasa to edit my picture. After getting in to the blogging world i developed the interest in clicking and editing pictures. So your comments will improve my skills.
The recipes which i have shared here are learnt by me from my Mom, MIL, Aunt, Grandma, Internet , Cookbook and cookery shows. They are tried and tasted by me. So without fear you can try my recipes. and don't forget to give your feedback. Stepwise picture will make you, to understand better. If you have any doubts feel free to ask me.(You can post your doubts in the comment section ) I ll clarify you.
I owe to my Mom , Who taught me cooking and to my husband who taught me techical stuffs.
